Job description

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Greet guests in the dining room and take all food orders in an efficient manner, following the established steps of service. - Maintain an understanding of all menu items and ingredients and assist guests with any dietary or preparation questions and suggestions. - Communicate directly with the back of the house crew to ensure that orders are delivered correctly, and all special requests are addressed and accommodated. - Deliver food promptly, professionally, and within LOCATION established service expectations, including maintaining safe food handling, alcohol service, and sanitation standards. - Promptly address and correct any complaints or issues. Relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor. - Understand LOCATION POS and F&B ticketing system software and correctly enter each order. Collect tickets, follow proper cash handling, and tip pool procedures. - Ensure that the dining room/area is properly set up prior to and after service period.
