Quality Assurance Technician

Job description

Responsible for testing, inspection of products and processes at various points in the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to company quality & food safety standards. The technician is also responsible for establishing and executing the disposition of products that do not meet company quality standards. This position is responsible for performing and documenting quality and food safety checks as required, to ensure all products meet Ghirardelli’s quality standards and food safety requirements. NOTE: We are hiring for our 3rd Shift (10PM PT to 6:30AM PT). Qualifications: Quality Assurance & Factory: - Conduct Quality Audits of lines and ‘self control’ paperwork to ensure product being produced meets established quality standards. - Monitor electronic weight and attribute system to ensure compliance to company weight and quality standards. Communicate deviations to the appropriate department for corrective action. - Conduct analytical testing of product and raw materials used for or during manufacture to assure they meet company standards.
