Provides intraoperative care to patients by functioning as the scrub person assisting the surgical team during an operative procedure. The Surgical Technologist, Strategic Staffing Solutions, will be a full-time employee of WVU Medicine and will be placed on assignment at any of our system hospitals and/or clinics. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Eighteen (18) months of scrub experience in a tertiary setting AND Current Surgical Technologist Certification through one of the following boards: National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) National Center for Competencies Testing (NCCT) American Allied Health Association (AAHA): OR Five (5) years of scrub experience in a tertiary setting 2.
