Description The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Emergency Medicine, is seeking full-time faculty members at any rank to serve as Medical Directors for three Urgent Aid Centers in Tinley Park, IL, Flossmoor, IL and Calumet City, IL. The Medical Directors provides strategic and operational leadership for the Urgent Aid Centers, including oversight of clinical quality, patient safety, staffing models, and provider engagement. They work collaboratively with hospital and departmental leadership to ensure seamless integration of urgent aid services within the broader emergency medicine enterprise, advancing service line growth, operational efficiency, and alignment with institutional goals. The appointees will maintain an active clinical practice within the Urgent Aid Centers, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for a diverse patient population. The appointees model best practices for advanced practice providers and faculty physicians in the urgent care setting, emphasizing efficiency, safety, and patient experience.
