Temporary Event Support Material Handler

The Facilities Department is seeking a Temporary Event Support Material Handler to assist with commencement setup activities. This role involves preparing event spaces, moving furniture and materials, and supporting event logistics during a busy commencement week. Responsibilities: Set up and dismantle tables, chairs, tents, and other event infrastructure Read and interpret event sheets and oral instructions to determine tasks and material needs Move furniture and materials to and from classrooms, offices, storage areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles. Assist with other commencement-related tasks as needed This is an on-campus position. Minimum Qualifications: Must dress appropriately, including sturdy shoes or sneakers. Must be available to work at all scheduled dates and times. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with event setup or related tasks.
