Electronics Technician

Job description

ERS is a specialty disaster recovery company focused on restoration of machinery, electronics, appliances, musical instruments, and other specialty items after fire, water, mold, and other losses occur. We are seeking a full-time electronics restoration technician. This person will be responsible to work with our team of technicians to conduct testing, disassembly, restoration (training provided), reassemble, and troubleshoot the items mentioned above. This position works primarily in our shop, but sometimes can take place in all kinds of environments after losses occur. Many times the loss sites are hot and without power. The ideal candidate will be an individual who loves to tinker with electronics/computers. This individual should demonstrate a team spirit, positive attitude, wise judgment, flexibility and patience with regard to fast changes in job demands. This person must execute tasks quickly and correctly as most jobs are time-sensitive, while demonstrating empathy as they work with customers in their most difficult moments.
