Here is a snapshot of the duties you can expect: SCOPE OF POSITION: Under the day-to-day direction of the Assistant Store Manager, is responsible for total store receiving functions. This involves Direct Store Deliveries and Piggly Wiggly Midwest deliveries. BASIC FUNCTION: Ensures clear and professional communication with vendors, is responsible for receiving, verifying and determining proper placement of all products and/or supplies coming into our stores. Position Specific Requirements: EQUIPMENT/TOOLS OPERATED : Proficient skill in operation of standard store equipment which includes multi-phone line, computer, copy machine, calculator, printers, scanners, etc. Able to use material handling equipment, which include, handcarts, product and pallet moving equipment and cardboard bailer. - Experience working in a grocery/retail environment where attention to detail and organization were a main component of the position. - Able to multi-task, learn computer programs and perform p...
