ROLE PURPOSE: This position will provide support to residents in a home-like environment in one of our many housing programs. You will work to enhance residents' quality of life, maintain the goals of their counselling and/or rehabilitative programs, and ensure the orderly and safe operation of the facility. This role is to provide 1:1 support to an adult male client in their late 20's experiencing autism and exhibiting antisocial tendencies, verbal and physical aggression. This role takes place in a residential environment and will require providing personal care, hygiene care (such as bathing, showering), transportation, meals, emotional support and the ability to de-escalate situations and redirect clients. STATUS AND CLASSIFICATION: Unionized; this position requires union membership. This position is open to applicants of all genders.
