Clay County - Small Towns. Big Passions. Pay: $30.69 - $35.90 Job Summary: Performs all functions of a land surveyor for County design, maintenance, acquisition, and development service projects. Survey and Mapping provides land survey and mapping services to support the design, right-of-way acquisition, land management, construction, and maintenance of County facilities. Supports right-of-way acquisition for transportation and storm-water related projects, including land descriptions and exhibits. Prepares and maintains drawings to aid in the design and maintenance of County facilities. Provides management direction, and control for these services, many of which are carried out through contracting. Provides management support over field survey crews. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provides boundary and topographical surveys for the design, maintenance, and acquisition of County facilities including all AutoCAD associated with this task. - Provides and records maps of County prescriptive roadways. - Re-establishment of land survey corners on an as needed basis. - Manages County Survey Crew by making and reviewing work assignments, establishing priorities and coordinating...
