Primary Responsibilities: - Maintain a high attention to safety, quality, and productivity in the welding/fabrication area. - MIG and Stick welding, must know how to use the torch and rosebud operation. - Familiar with metals, steel and fabrications. - Oversee all the container/Baler repairs. - Rebuilding truck bodies, roll-off containers and front-load containers. - Follow instructions on work orders and shop drawings and verify material and work accuracy. - Prepare and process all paperwork necessary to complete orders. - Order and maintain necessary levels of shop and welding supplies. - Maintain equipment by following required preventative maintenance schedules and documenting tasks. - Able to interpret drawings, layout, plan work and use sound judgement. - Observe safety procedures, assure self and others safety and report any safety issues. - Properly stack processed material and pack as re...
