Senior Project Buyer – BLU54 SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Project Buyer – BLU54 that will support project teams by working with suppliers to purchase materials, equipment and services. This project management role focuses on purchasing, logistics and schedule coordination, supplier relationships, risk assessment and financial reporting. Location: Minneapolis, MN: RESPONSIBILITIES: - Purchase items and services at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, specification requirements, and other factors - Arrange returns for unacceptable products to suppliers - Create and maintain procurement logs for each project to order status from the time of placing the order until delivery and communicate status to project teams - Prepare purchase agreements and purchase orders.
