Position Overview The Imagery Scientist – SAR Senior supports SAR exploitation activities through operational analysis, imagery quality assessment, and mission-focused analytical support. The candidate will contribute to the evaluation and application of SAR imagery products and provide technical expertise supporting mission operations and stakeholder engagement. Required Qualifications: - Minimum of four (4) years of experience working with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery and exploitation methodologies. - Understanding of SAR collection techniques, phenomenology, image formation processes, and exploitation products. - Experience assessing SAR imagery quality metrics and sensor metadata. - Experience exploiting SAR imagery to determine the occurrence and location of Objects of Interest (OOIs). - Ability to communicate SAR capabilities and operational applications to technical and non-technical audiences. - Understanding of remote sensing principles, imagery processing techniques, and advanced exploitation methodologies.
