Company: Victor Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Specialty Lines (Kidnap & Ransom) team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York City and Bethesda. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. We are seeking an experienced and driven Kidnap & Ransom (K&R) Underwriter to join our Specialty Lines team. This role will be responsible for managing and growing a profitable portfolio of Kidnap & Ransom business countrywide while building strong broker relationships and maintaining disciplined underwriting standards. We will count on you to: Underwrite and manage a national portfolio of new and renewal Kidnap & Ransom business Meet or exceed production, retention, and profitability targets Drive profitable growth through disciplined risk selection, pricing, and portfolio management strategies Prepare and present underwriting referrals with supporting analysis to internal and external stakeholders Negotiate terms and conditions using approved underwriting guidelines and rating methodologies Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with broker partners to enhance visibility and market share What y...
