Description · GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: To establish and maintain quality standards in accordance with customer standards striving for ZERO Defects. You will be evaluated, in part, on your performance of the tasks listed in this job description. - Perform engineering studies, including product and process qualification, under the guidance of the Quality Systems Manager. - Reduce variation through the implementation of effective quality techniques. - Analyze data from studies and daily activities in order to create action plans for improvement and permanent corrective action. - Assist in the improvement of systems to increase efficiency, reduce loss, and achieve department and company goals. - Guide all departments in the creation and implementation of corrective/preventive actions addressing internal and external issues.
