Pet Stylist The Pet Stylist is instrumental in providing high quality grooming services to clients supporting the overall success of the animal hospital. The role and responsibilities include bathing, brushing, clipping, and providing other grooming services to domestic pets, typically dogs and cats. Duties/Responsibilities: - The primary function of this role is to perform the full realm of grooming services, daily, of dogs and cats. - General understanding of the client’s needs and delivering on those needs. - Ability to communicate effectively and in a friendly manner with clients. - Provide WOW client service. - Ability to perform standard grooming techniques as well as new skills. - Embrace the organization’s pricing philosophy. - Responsible for learning and implementing the operation procedures set forth in the role. - Ability to care for all pets with respect, kindness, and sensitivity. - Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting the salon, equipment, and grooming tools daily. - Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
