Dock Foreman_NE-NSC_Thrift Store Department-401 JOB SUMMARY: Supervises and participates in the operation of the bailer and forklift; assists in selling rags and shoes; maintains the orderliness of the dock and dumpster area; maintains vehicles; repairs furniture and evaluates appliances in order to determine repairs needed and if materials can be sold in the Thrift/Family Store. Supervises and: participates in the bailing and storing of rags; ensures the bailer is operated in a safe manner at all times. participates in the handling of materials processed out of the store to be bailed. Evaluates: appliances and other donated materials which have value in order to determine if materials are suitable for repair and can be sold through the Thrift/Family Store.
