Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Transplant Surgery at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time TH CTS Transplant Senior Specialist / Transplant Coordinator. The successful candidate will: - Conduct pre-transplant education sessions for new and waitlisted transplant candidates. - Coordinate evaluation of pre-transplant candidates. - Obtain patient data in a timely manner. - Arrange necessary testing and review results with attending staff. - Collaborate with dialysis units in obtaining and sharing of information necessary for listing. - Direct support staff in obtaining information needed for patient listing.
