The Boiler-Chiller Tech III/ Lead is responsible for leading and coordinating Boiler-Chiller and HVAC Tech work while providing hands-on participation in installation, operation, and maintenance of Liberty University equipment. Responsible for assisting in the installation, operation, preventative maintenance, and repair of all mechanical equipment to include commercial boilers. This is to include assorted fans, pumps, piping systems, unit heaters, drive systems, furnaces, boilers, and chillers, as well as all ancillary equipment. Working independently and exercising good judgment and discretion is essential to this job. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - As Essential Personnel, you must be available in the event of school closings, delays, shutdowns, and any emergencies including clean up required because of severe weather incidents.
