About the role: Join our mechanical engineers in Austin as we design, refine, and scale the manufacturing processes that turn advanced‑reactor designs into hardware. Over a 12‑ to 16‑week term you will own a clearly scoped project—from concept through implementation—while gaining daily mentorship and shop‑floor experience. What you’ll do: - Design, build and update 3‑D CAD models, detailed drawings, and GD&T. - Program and prove out CNC tool‑paths on 3‑axis mills and 5‑axis mill‑turn centers alongside machinists. - Draft work instructions, router steps, and inspection plans that satisfy ASME and internal quality standards. - Collect production data, perform root‑cause an...
