Description Summary: The Preschool Teacher Assistant supports the Preschool Teacher in delivering a high-quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood education program. Under the supervision of the Director of Early Childhood Services, this role assists with lesson planning, child assessments, and classroom management, while fostering a safe, clean, and engaging environment that promotes children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. The Preschool Teacher Assistant builds positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, maintains accurate records, and ensures compliance with Ibero policies and NYSOCFS regulations.
