PD Observation Aide-Med/Surg Float pool

Job description

Provides constant observation of patients who are in need of supervision because of possible danger to self and/or others, change in mental status (confusion) that may place the patient at risk for injury and/or interferes with the effectiveness of medical/surgical equipment. Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience: - Able to follow directions. - Demonstrates dependability, punctuality and flexibility. - Successfully completes class on role and responsibilities. - Command of verbal and written English - Must visibly demonstrate commitment to customer service by providing timely, positive responses to the needs of all customers including patients, families, co-workers and staff.
