JOB SUMMARY: Goodwin & Company is looking for a porter who is primarily responsible for the day-to-day service requests, oversight and physical upkeep of the company’s portfolio of managed properties. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties include but are not limited to: - Assist with daily porter tasks, such as service requests and jobs at communities - Respond to maintenance related issues in a timely manner - Perform various maintenance functions including repairs to the following: electrical, plumbing, flooring, carpentry, grounds maintenance as dictated by state guidelines. - Perform general carpentry duties such as wallboard repair, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, painting, and exterior building repairs. - Responsible for work order systems accuracy by verifying all orders are completed in a timely manner to company standards and the tenant’s satisfaction. - Ensure maintenance requests are handled as quickly, efficiently and effectively as possible and always completed within 24 hours.
