Job description

The Department of Urology at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking an Instructor to provide outpatient clinic care including evaluation of new patients, established patients and post operative care. The area of focus is Sexual Medicine but the incumbent will also work in general urology. This position will also accommodate the changes in Florida Law requiring every 6 month follow ups for patients on androgen replacement therapy which is a Schedule III controlled substance. This position is assigned to the "Faculty" non-ranked appointment. Clinical - Provide outpatient clinic care including evaluation of new patients, established patients and post op care. Obtain History and Physical Examination, order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic test/procedures in coordination with Faculty supervising physician. Manage medical problems; initiate, monitor and alter therapies; order diagnostic tests and prescribe therapeutic medications in coordination with Faculty supervising physician, fellows, and residents.
