Position Title: Airport Civil Inspector III (May underfill as a Level II or I) Job Description: This position serves as a technical expert in civil inspection providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to lower-level inspectors while representing the Division on complex construction projects. The incumbent ensures compliance with approved plans, specifications, codes, standards, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Work includes inspections of water, sewer, stormwater, drainage, underground electrical, grading, and paving based on department needs. Employees maintain detailed records, monitor contractor activities, and ensure safety, quality, regulatory conformity, and contract compliance. Incumbent issues “Nonconformance Report (NCR)” and acts as the Airports field representative.
