Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Job Title: Float Pool RN Unit: Acute Care – Med/Stroke Unit Employment Type: PRN / 84 hours in a 6-week schedule Location: Germantown, Maryland: Position Purpose: Reporting to the Director of Acute Care, the Registered Nurse must demonstrate the passion to provide bedside care to a diverse and acutely ill population of patients. The Registered Nurse should possess the knowledge and skill of how-to safety apply the nursing process to assess, plan and evaluate the care of patients with various health conditions. Unit Overview: The Med/Stroke Unit is a 30 bed inpatient unit that is part of a new transformational care team model created to improve patient care and provide nurses and nurse assistants new opportunities and support. The RN will team with an experienced virtual RN (vRN) and a certified nursing assistant to provide excellent patient care to patients in an acute care setting. This fast-paced unit has a diverse population of staff and patients with multiple medical co-morbidities.
