Job duties may vary, depending on the line-of-progression (Operations, Maintenance or Coal Yard). Job Description: What you’ll do: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Operate, clean, service and lubricate all coal handling equipment. Maintain coal conveyors, coal handling equipment, and work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Operate, regulate, adjust, clean, and perform minor maintenance on coal handling equipment, including associated, conveyors, gearboxes, dust suppression, sumps, coal chutes, dust collectors, and belt wipers. Monitor and inspect coal yard equipment for normal operation. Identify and report abnormal conditions to the proper authority and write work orders. Load, unload, move and handle materials, supplies, equipment, open boxes, barrels, bags, and other materials.
