Shift: First Shift (United States of America) Scheduling Associate - Rheumatology Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Scheduling Associate for our Westroads Clinic. This role supports a busy specialty clinic focused on rheumatology and musculoskeletal care, with access to on-site lab, imaging, and infusion services. The Scheduling Associate is responsible for coordinating new patient referrals and ensuring patients are appropriately scheduled with complete and accurate clinical information. This includes reviewing incoming referrals, prioritizing urgent requests, determining appropriateness for Rheumatology, and redirecting to referring providers when needed. A key part of this role is obtaining and verifying supporting documentation such as medical records, labs, and imaging to ensure referrals are complete prior to scheduling.
