JOB SUMMARY: The Research Assistant, Sr. supports investigators by performing moderately complex research and experimentation following established protocols in a neuroscience laboratory studying microglia, myelination, and neurodegenerative diseases. As a foundational member of a newly established lab, this position performs routine lab and equipment maintenance, such as cleaning glassware, counter tops, and equipment, sets-up and operates various scientific apparatus, and assists with primary research projects. This position also performs various clerical and editorial duties, to include compiling, processing, and analyzing data, as well as performing training duties.
