Description JOB TITLE : Pool Attendant: JOB SUMMARY : Maintain a safe, hygienic, pleasant environment in the swimming areas. Monitor all activity and conditions for safety hazards, unsafe behavior, and medical emergencies. Take any corrective action required, following established guidelines. Perform the daily required cleaning of pool areas and exercise room, water treatment, and record keeping procedures required. REPORTS TO : Activities Manager & Pool Supervisor PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: 1. Watch swimmers and swimming area for safety hazards, unsafe behavior, and medical emergencies. Take any corrective action necessary; follow proper emergency practice if needed. 2. Complete all necessary paperwork, including swimming areas records, guest check-in, chemical orders, and cleaning log. 3. Clean all assigned areas: pool area, locker rooms and workout room. 4. Empty wastebaskets in all areas. 5. Transport towels to and from the laundry. 6. Start Washer and Dryer for towels as necessary. 7.
