Salary/Position Classification: - $65,000+ depending on experience, 9-month contract, Exempt - 40 hours per week - This position will work onsite at UND Grand Forks, ND campus Purpose of Position: The College of Engineering and Mines (CEM) at the University of North Dakota invites applications for the possibility of two 9-month Instructor positions to support the Engineering program. The department will consider applications in the general area of engineering, such as (1) computer programming, (2) engineering mechanics, (3) engineering ethics, (4) engineering economics. The appointment is expected to begin on August 16, 2026, or earlier. Duties & Responsibilities: The successful applicant will have the following primary responsibilities and duties: - Instruction in the engineering division of CEM that supports introductory and common courses for CEM majors. - Teaching a 4/4 course load in engineering, both on-campus and at-a-distance, potentially including both classroom and laboratory settings. The initial appointment may include a reduced teaching load to initiate external collaborations and course development. - Recruitment of students into CEM. - Advising students in course pla...
