Description The Improvement Sciences Specialist supports delivery of process improvement, project management, and knowledge management initiatives across Navy Medicine. This role applies analytical, technical, and operational expertise to improve workflows, enhance system performance, and support data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Process Improvement Support: - Assist in execution of CPI initiatives using methodologies such as: - Lean - Six Sigma - PDSA / PDCA - Conduct workflow analysis and support identification of improvement opportunities - Support development and implementation of optimized processes Project & Portfolio Support: - Assist in managing project activities across the full lifecycle - Support development of project documentation, schedules, and deliverables - Track project performance and assist in reporting progress, risks, and issues Knowledge Management & Systems Support: - Support development and maintenance of knowledge management systems (e.g., SharePoint, SPIDR) - Create training materials, user guides, and instructional content - Assist with system configuration, data management, and process automation efforts Data Analysis & Reporting: - Per...
