Responsibilities Peraton seeks an Operations Research Specialist to support Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) with DCO AI Cyber Security Support. Location: Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you will operate as part of the Data Science Team conducting operational research and ASOM-aligned analysis on DoD cyber topics to inform decision-making and improve Commander situational awareness. Primary Responsibilities: - Conduct operational research on cyber defense scenarios - Utilize statistical, mathematical, and simulation methods for planning support - Perform ASOM-aligned analysis to support tactical through strategic levels - Identify operational trends, root causes, and systemic vulnerabilities - Develop decision support models for resource allocation - Produce analytic findings that strengthen DODIN cyber posture Qualifications: Required Qualifications: - Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD - Strong background in operations research methodologies - Experience with simulation and optimization techniques - Proficiency in Python, R, or MATLAB - Knowledge of DoD planning processes - Experience with decision analysis fr...
