Job Title: Chemical Dependency Aide Department: Inpatient Addiction Recovery Services Location: 20 Cottage Street; Potsdam, NY Hours Per Week: Per Diem Schedule: Varies SUMMARY: To assist the professional personnel by performing routine functions of patient care and support. Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Charge Nurse. Adheres to the professional standards of NYS OASAS RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. (50%) Supervise patients, including coordination of activities, meals and ADL’s. 2. (25%) Clerical functions and ordering. 3. (15%) Transport urines, register patients, accompany patients to appointments. 4. (10%) Documentation - On-the-job orientation and in-services provided REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma/Equivalent.
