Production Supervisor Department: Operations: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Cambridge: Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 / year Description: As a member of the Operations team, the Production Supervisor is responsible to ensure that production requirements are met safely, on time and within acceptable levels of quality, and costs, specific to all materials, documentation and services required to support production and customers, both internal and external, for the assigned Department. Areas of Responsibility Include: - Responsible for the physical and psychological safety of all employees. Ensure employees work in accordance with OH&S Act and CGT’s EHS Policies & Procedures – PPE, work methods, plant rules, mutual respect, etc. - Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of employees on various pieces of equipment - Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments - Resolve work problems (people, equipment, etc.) and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality - Training and mentoring of employees in job duties, safety procedures and company policies - Evaluate the performance of employees and the depa...
