Job description

Experience preferred, however we will train the right person. This is a 2nd shift position with a 4-day (10 hours/day) workweek from Monday thru Thursday, 4pm -2:30am. Recent base wage increase is ultra-competitive, and there's an additional $1/hour shift differential for this 2nd shift role. Summary: Fab Team Operators will be trained to operate multiple types of machinery including, but not limited to, chopping/blocking equipment and slitting machines. Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, machine operators are expected to work in a manner which promotes safety, quality, and efficiency to meet production goals. Role and Responsibilities: - Follow ALL Safe work practices, LOTO, PPE, JHA’s, Sops, Wait for the Wave, etc. - Complete forklift training (online and hands-on by trainer on the shop floor) - Ability to operate a forklift and attachments required to do the job - Skill and ability to meet or exceed the standardsized expectations - Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. - Ability to operate plant scanners and computers to print or scan tickets and conduct inventory - Maintain an orderly, safe, and clean work area.
