Position Title: Endoscopic Reprocessing Technician - Adult Sterile Processing Department: Adult Sterile Processing Job Description: Location: University of Oklahoma Medical Center, Adult Sterile Processing Shift: Full-Time M-F 12pm-6:30pm: The Endoscopic Reprocessing Technician I is an entry level professional who works under supervision to provide technical assistance during endoscopic procedures via preparing, packaging, and manipulating equipment. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Performs pre-cleaning of endoscopes at bedside or point of use/procedure room. Maintains appropriate records for inventory reprocessed. Monitors expirations dates of processed/disinfected scopes and reprocess expired scopes accordingly. Performs equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and more complex repairs.
