Job description

We are seeking a Computational Scientist in our Broomfield, CO location. Key Responsibilities: - Create, optimize, and maintain numerical tools to enable key features of trapped-ion quantum computers - Refinement and refactoring of existing numerical tools - Extensively test, document, and maintain existing workflows for the design of surface-electrode ion traps - Develop methods and workflows consisting of electrostatic modeling tools and nonlinear optimization techniques - Collaborate with commercial and experimental teams on research and technology development YOU MUST HAVE: - Bachelor’s degree minimum - Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person defined as, U.S. citizen permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status - Due to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.
