An opportunity has presented itself for Qualified Locomotive Drivers to join our team in Mackay for a 6-month max term contract supporting the Wilmar Sugar season. - 24/7 Rail Operation - Multiple opportunities available in Mackay QLD - Safely Every Day — That’s Our Promise What You’ll Do: As a Locomotive Driver, you’ll play a key role in delivering freight safely and on time. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will: - Operate Pacific National locomotives in compliance with safe working regulations and driver accreditation requirements. - Liaise with Train Control to ensure efficient train operations and schedule adherence. - Prepare and provision locomotives, including system checks and compliance documentation. - Perform minor maintenance and first-level servicing activities. - Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to meet operational needs.
