Description The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics (NDBP), within the University of Virginia and UVA Health Children's seeks candidates for a board-eligible/board-certified Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. Salary and rank are dependent upon qualifications and experience. For information regarding faculty tracks, Visit https://faculty.med.virginia.edu/facultyaffairs/advancement/pandt/faculty-tracks/ Our patient population includes children with neurodevelopmental or behavioral concerns, autism, intellectual disability, high-risk infant follow up, mental/emotional/behavioral problems (MEB), neuro-motor disabilities (i.e. cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders) and children at risk due to early childhood adversity. Patients are seen in the new Riverside Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Health Center (opening late 2024) and the Battle Building (outpatient) of the UVA Health Children's Hospital adjacent to the UVA Health Medical Center as well as various rural outreach clinics.
