Description We are currently seeking to hire a Mate aboard the Range Support Craft 2 (RSC-2) to support safe vessel operations, oversee crew and deck evolutions, and ensure mission readiness under the direction of the vessel Master. This position requires a strong understanding of maritime operations, navigation, safety standards, and the ability to lead and communicate effectively with both government stakeholders and internal teams. The RSC-2 is a 114-foot aluminum vessel providing mobile range services to the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) Detachment Far East at Naval Base Guam , supporting U.S. Navy training and operational exercises throughout the Marianas Island Range Complex . The Mate will assist in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel, supervise deck crew, coordinate maintenance and repair tasks, and support mission execution. This role requires the ability to perform duties with minimal oversight, ensuring all aspects of deck and watch standing operations are conducted in compliance with U.S. Coast Guard, Navy, and company standards.
