Description The Linux System Administrator is responsible for the secure, reliable operation and continuous improvement of the organization’s Linux infrastructure. This role administers Linux servers and workstations that support engineering, research, and production workloads, including core services such as identity/integration, storage, virtualization, monitoring, and automation. The position ensures system availability, security compliance, and performance in support of SHINE’s operational and regulatory requirements. The base salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year plus a comprehensive compensation package. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Duties and Responsibilities: Specific duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Administer, configure, secure, and maintain Linux servers, workstations, and related infrastructure. - Lead the deployment, modernization, and lifecycle management of Linux compute clusters, including replacement of aging or underperforming systems. - Ensure Linux systems supporting SaM, Engineering, Chrysalis, and Phase III environments are compliant, stable, and properly maintained. - Appl...
