The Business and Economics Department of Wheaton College (Illinois) invites applications for the Executive-in-Residence and Assistant Professor of Finance position, beginning July 1, 2026. The successful candidate will serve as the founding leader of the College's newly launched Certificate in Financial Planning program. In this role, the professor will teach the required courses that prepare students for CFP® certification, ensuring excellence in the curriculum and student success. A key responsibility will be establishing and maintaining the program's registration with the CFP® Board and ensuring compliance with all educational standards and requirements. CFP® or CFA® certification is required; individuals who hold advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, Ph.D.) in relevant fields are preferred. Candidates with professional experience in financial planning or related fields will receive priority consideration. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to the liberal arts and the ability to integrate Christian values into their teaching.
