Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Trinity Health Mid Atlantic - St. Mary Medical Center is looking for a full time Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic practice in Langhorne, PA. Ortho experience preferred. The PA will provide coordination, planning and implementation of health-related services that best meet the needs of patients and their families as a Physician Assistant. Incorporate education plans into daily patient activity while integrating primary and secondary diagnosis. The APP will assume accountability for managing the delivery of patients and act as a patient advocate and uphold patient's rights. Will work in a collaborative team environment; consulting and referring to other Health Care professionals in our health system. At times asked to perform as a preceptor to PA's. Practice/Responsibilities: · APP will work as a Physician Extender, working with all orthopedic specialties. · APP will see new patients, Post-Op, Follow up and Injection visit types. · Schedule is 4 shifts per week. · APPs take first primary call 1:4 weekdays/weekends rotations; Physicians cover secondary call.
