Conflicts Manager, Director (AVP equivalent) London JR022011: We're seeking someone to join us as a Conflicts Manager, Director. The Global Conflicts Office (GCO) oversees Morgan Stanley's Firm-wide conflicts management framework and has members based in New York, London, Hong Kong and Mumbai. This role is based in London. The GCO operates the Firm's transactional conflict clearance process and oversees conflicts management measures relating to the Firm's broader business practices. The group's role involves frequent engagement with senior members of Business Units across the Firm, Business Management, Risk, Legal, Compliance and other control functions within the Firm. As part of the conflict clearance process, the GCO reviews proposed transactions to assess whether they could result in conflicts that risk the Firm's bottom line, its reputation, or its client relationships. The GCO crafts and directs strategies to appropriately address these risks.
