Job Summary: Patient Transporters are responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compassionate movement of patients within MWH and SH. They provide non-emergency transport services, assisting patients in and out of wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds, while upholding the highest standards of safety and care. Patient Transporters ensure that patients' medical equipment is properly secured during transport, and they maintain cleanliness and safety throughout the process. As frontline members of the patient care team, Patient Transporters play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience, quality of care, and patient flow. Beyond their physical duties, they provide comfort and security to patients, helping to ease anxiety and ensure a smooth transport experience.
