Job Title: Safety Specialist II - Sr Work Place Flexibility: Onsite: Legal Entity: Entergy Arkansas, LLC: This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing **This posting can be filled as a Safety Specialist II - Safety Specialist Senior depending on qualifications. ** Job Summary/Purpose: All members of Entergy’s safety function will be expected to own safety, work to prevent incidents and seek to improve with the understanding that zero harm is possible. This position is tasked with examining the workplace/worksite for environmental or physical factors that could affect employee and/or contract partner health, safety, comfort, and performance. Ensuring the workplace/worksite is as safe as possible accomplished through conducting risk assessments, safety analyses, job site reviews, and coaching. The senior and lead safety specialists will be expected to show leadership and mentorship capabilities with Entergy’s employees and contract partners.
