Water/Wastewater Resident Engineer

Job description

STV is seeking a Resident Engineer with 15+ years of experience to join our Water Division as part of our Construction Management team supporting NYCDEP infrastructure projects in New York City. This is an opportunity to support critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects while working alongside a highly experienced team delivering complex municipal programs in the NYC Metro Area. Qualifications: - Support the Construction Manager (CM) in the day-to-day oversight of construction activities on major NYCDEP projects. - Lead construction contract administration and serve as the primary point of contact between STV, the client, and contractors. - Manage inspection staff ensuring timely and accurate daily reporting in accordance with client requirements. - Serve as the primary liaison between contractors, design teams, and client stakeholders. - Review and monitor that the Construction Management Plan continuously meets the contract requirements and project needs. - Oversee contractor performance to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and applicable agency requirements (e.g., NYCDEP, NYSDEC, NYCDDC). - Monitor construction progress including materials, methods, and w...
