Job DetailsJob Location: Wilkes Family YMCA - Wilkesboro, NC 28697Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $12.00 - $14.00 HourlyJob Shift: VariableUnder the direction of the Wellness Director, the Yoga Instructor leads safe, engaging, and inclusive yoga classes that support the YMCA’s mission to strengthen community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The instructor creates a welcoming environment for participants of all fitness levels while promoting overall wellness, mindfulness, and connection. Essential Functions: Plan and lead safe, effective, and inspiring yoga classes aligned with YMCA standards and member needs. Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and modifications to accommodate varying skill levels and abilities. Ensure participant safety by maintaining proper alignment cues, monitoring class flow, and responding to individual needs. Build authentic relationships with members and help foster a sense of belonging within the class community. Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes and events.
