Emergency Room (Full-time, Night Shift) Job Summary: The Emergency Services Technician serves in a combination role and is competent to perform as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA), Telemetry Technician (TT) and a Unit Secretary (US) under the supervision of a registered nurse, nurse practitioner, and/or physician in a fast-paced emergency department licensed under Loma Linda University Medical Center-Murrieta (LLUMC-Murrieta). Demonstrates flexibility and readily accepts changing assignments and job duties at the beginning and throughout the shift as requested, e.g., Telemetry Technician, Unit Secretary, Patient Care Assistant. Provides direct and indirect, age-specific and developmentally appropriate patient care as directed and seeks information and clarification of duties throughout shift as necessary. Utilizes effective interpersonal skills to maximize excellence in customer service, safe patient care and professionalism. Contributes to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and patient population. Performs other duties as needed.
