Position Highlights: : Sign On Bonus: 1+ year experience $10,000; New Grad $7,500 Position: Cardiac Sonographer: Location: Chicago, IL: Full Time: Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30pm, Rotating Weekend & Holidays What you will need: Education — Associates in Applied Science degree is required. Course work or curriculum of previous experience should include: ultrasounds physics, anatomy and physiology, electrocardiography, cardiovascular pathophysiology, cardiovascular hemodynamic principles, cardiac history-taking, key aspects of cardiorespiratory physical diagnosis. Experience — At least 6 months in 2-D and M-Mode echocardiography, preferred. Skills — The ability to efficiently obtain quality images of the heart and the correct views to help the interpreting physician diagnose the problem. Qualitative/quantitative production standards — Accuracy is of critical importance in this position.
